The network manager is not displaying any wlan adapters.<br /><br />I've been researching this topic all night... First thing I did was update/upgrade and install headers. No avail.<br /><br />I've switched the VMWare settings to Bridge - Nothing...<br /><br />I've blacklisted certain drivers according to some online documentation.<br /><br />I've installed and built the backports method... Nada.<br /><br />Nothing seems to work. If so, the answer is that there is no difference. VMware is a USB passthrough so it will look like native hardware.
